This rotation was so fun I can't wait until I offer sculpture 2 next year. We went over the basics of the media but learning about Space, Positive and Negative by doing Styrogami, then Form, or how to make objects 3D by making mystery bag sculptures. Lastly we learned about found object assemblages by looking at artwork by Louise Nevelson students loved spray painting their creations. For the final students had a choice of what they wanted to create based on the elements we learned about. I had students using plaster, paper mache, clay, wire, we went through lots and lots and lots of cardboard and tape too! It's been a great first year at stem saratoga! thank you for all your support...... Drawing Essentials......Ceramics Collaboration with South High School........The Art of Lettering and Design......Multi Media Experience......Sculpture 1 & 2.....Photography

I used to be a sculpture, but I just had to end that career of mine. I mean, I get that art is supposed to be about passion, but that is not what happened for me. I pretty much did sculpting because I was good at it, and it did not pan well for me. I thought that I would get a lot of money and fame because of my talent in sculpting, but that was not the case. I hope that I get a better career.
