CHECK OUT THE SLIDESHOW, JUST SOME OF THE GREAT STUDENT WORK FROM DRAWING THE FACE ROTATION 2
In class we have learned about some different ways artists can represent the face. How to draw the face realistically with Value Tone and Proportion, Anime style, and Conceptual Abstraction are just a few; we even did portraits of pet's faces to make them feel included! I am so impressed with the creativity that comes from STEM students. I had a wonderful time teaching this rotation, but on to the next....
ART HISTORY starts next week and we will be kicking off the rotation with project based learning in art, each student will choose a time period and an art movement to teach the class about; they then will create, show and critique a piece of artwork that shows the characteristics of that movement.
OUR LAST WEEK.....WE WILL LEARN ABOUT DRAWING EXPRESSIONS! THEY ARE GOING TO FILL IN THE MOVIE THEATER WITH FACES, SHOWING EMOTIONS.
Below..more work from the beginning of the rotation it's so awesome to see the growth!
