Do you know why the snow melted so soon this year??? I do. It's because things are really HEATING-UP in STEM-Biz!!!
Rotation-4 in STEM Biz features a class called "Sports & Entertainment Marketing". In this class, students have the opportunity to select a sports team, musical artist or group, or event/convention, and they will layout a schedule of events, including all of the marketing functions that go along with event planning.
Students are really doing well in creating their marketing campaigns. The different types of promotions and give-aways that the students are coming up with is really stunning! I did notice that we have quite a few Chicago sports fans in our midst, but hey, no one is perfect.
For our final week, students will assemble their marketing campaign events into a presentation, and they will go public with their ideas. This class has been A LOT of FUN, and the kids are learning about all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes of a major sporting event, concert, or convention.
