Science Fair Wrap Up
Welcome to a New Year! As we begin our next unit, we took a day to reflect on how we finished our science fair unit. Students have been shared their three summative evaluations with feedback, along with having them posted on For All Rubrics. As part of our finalization of the science unit, we will be publishing the summative assessments, so you will receive an email notification for each of the three documents. These documents and scores will be also be found under the ePortfolio.
Chemistry Unit Starts
Our next unit of study will be a chemistry unit. The class will start by looking at the properties of gases and how they work. We will continue later in the unit with our study of elements, molecules, and states of matter. As we work through this unit, like out past units, parents and students can follow their student’s progress on For All Rubrics. Please remember that any “red” check mark requires the students to see one of their science facilitators to get it checked off. Blank sections mean that we are still in the process of checking in that work and students are fine at that point.
