The week before spring break, the science classes wrapped up our study of the chemistry of materials. Students completed a series of final assessments to show their understanding of the unit and how well they had mastered the material. This week, students received the feedback from those assessments and we reviewed samples that showed what proficiency would look like for each one. Just like the previous units, we have archived all chemistry assignments and project components, so students do not need to worry about unfinished previous material, so all focus can be on our current unit.
We have now begun our last unit for the school year. Students will be diving into a series of activities aimed at building our understanding of weather and weather patterns. Like previous units, students will also be completing a weather unit project during our study. Graphic organizers will be provided along the way to support student development. We look forward to a great last unit for this year.
For All Rubrics / Google Classroom
As we begin our final unit, we just wanted to remind parents that all summative scores are posted on For All Rubrics for your review, just like our previous units. We also wanted to thank parents for your continued review and support of your students' work by continuing to check Google Classroom for work completion.
