We will be taking time from each of our classes to celebrate 3.14!
"March 14 marks Pi Day, an annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi. Founded in 1988 by physicist Larry Shaw, March 14 was selected because the numerical data (3.14) represent the first three digits of pi, and it also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday, the perfect pi-incidence" ;)
We will be finding our birthdays in pi, making circular designs on a math software, memorizing digits of pi, arranging paper plates with the numbers in order, make number-associated colored bracelets, and some of us may be eating some PI.
Stay tuned for photos!
