When: Tuesday, May 22nd @ 7:00pm
Where: South H.S.
Arrival Time: No later than 6:00pm
Dress: Traditional Concert Dress (see description below)
Please drop students off at the auditorium at 6:00pm.
IMPORTANT: Doors to the auditorium will not be open to families until 6:30pm. (This is to ensure a distraction free and quiet environment in which students can warm up and get organized.) Some options for during that time might include a quick trip to get a snack, waiting in the lobby, or volunteering to help Ms. Miller with students prior to the concert.
Concert Dress = Choir Professional
The concert is a formal affair in which students show their best work wearing their best clothes. If you are having trouble with any part of the outfit, please let Ms. Miller know so she can help supply you with the appropriate clothing pieces.
On the Top: Plain white from the waist up, long sleeve or short sleeve. (No cold shoulders, off the shoulders, sleeveless, tank, muscle, or spaghetti strap shirts. No bellies showing. No logos or prints.)
On the Bottom: Plain black from the waist down. Must be floor length. (No shorts, short skirts, or capris.) Black socks and stockings must be worn. No bare skin should be showing from the waist down.
Shoes: Formal, all black shoes.
I am looking for parent volunteers to help with various concert details. Please email me if you are interested in helping out.
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
Students should be practicing their choir songs daily, for a minimum of 5 minutes each. Practice tracks are available in Google Classroom.
