It's been a busy month in the music room!
The STEM Music students have completed a unit about Hip Hop Music. They are currently working on a project of their choosing where they can research a topic, compose music, or design an instrument.
The Bands and Orchestras are busy preparing for their Winter Concert.
The concert is THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13th in the Auditorium at South High School. It will start at 6:30pm. Students should arrive by 6:15 to get their instrument ready and find their spot in the auditorium. The concert should last less than an hour. Please make every effort to have your student there on time. Contact Ms. Heidtke with any questions.
The Dress code for the concert is dress clothes. There is not a specific color required. Dress pants, Dress shirt, Polo shirt, Sweaters, Dresses or skirts are suggested. Please avoid jeans, joggers, sweat pants, track pants, or leggings. If a student is unsure about their outfit, please have them see Ms. Heidtke.
Students will be meeting for a concert rehearsal during one Morning Flex time in the next two weeks. They will also be meeting for a concert dress rehearsal on the afternoon of December 12th. Students should check Google Classroom for more information.
