Things have been hopping in the music room this month!
STEM Music students have completed a STOMP project using objects from everyday life as instruments. They also completed a Soundtrack of their Life project in which they had to pick some significant songs that would tell their life events.
Symphonic Band students have been working on learning their Chromatic Scale and working on their May concert music.
Symphonic Orchestra students have been learning new key signatures and working on their May Concert Music.
Concert Orchestra has been learning some new notes on their instruments and working on imitating Raindrops for their Spring Concert music.
Concert Band has been learning new notes and learning about different Dinosaurs for their Spring Concert music.
IMPORTANT DATES COMING UP:
MARCH 16TH- District Solo and Ensemble at West High School. Students will be contacted with their individual performance times.
MAY 16TH- Spring Band/Orchestra Concert at South High School. Concert begins at 6:30.

On February 1st, STEM-Saratoga Band, Orchestra, and Choir Students braved the cold temperatures to visit STEM-Randall to demonstrate their instruments and talk to the 5th graders about being involved in music next year.
